I am not originally from this area and did not know where to go when my car recently broke down while I was driving to work on 95. As horrible as you can imagine that was, through Triple A I was able to quickly arrange a tow and they recommended Virginia Automotive Service to repair my vehicle. I have found the staff to always be very professional, extremely courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and competent. As a matter of fact, I have to chosen to use them going forward for all of my automotive needs. They understand the importance of having repairs done quickly and returning my vehicle as soon as possible. I actually decided to take my 2nd car there immediately after pickling up the car that broke down to ensure it would be road ready for my daughter who is getting her license in October. I trust them wholeheartedly and while everyone hates to spend money, my money has been well spent at this shop. I feel safe knowing that my daughter will be driving a car that was certified by them as "road ready".

Great service, a little expensive, but you won't need to keep going back for the same thing. They fix what's wrong the first time.

Scheduled an appointment for the wrong location and the guy at the front desk worked some magic and fit me in for my appointment at the location I was at. I didnt have to wait or come back another day. Very quick and friendly

The service was good had my car serviced. They were attentive and nice but the business forgot to inform me of the status of the brakes when I had my tire rotated.

I had a slow leaking tire that needed to be repaired. I was heading to Firestone next door who said to bring it in and the wait will be about 2 hours. When I got there I couldn't find any parking spot close by. I ended up parking right by Virginia Automotive so I decided to pop in to see if they can have a look. Richard quickly got a tech to take a look and had it repaired. He didn't even charge me. I was so pleasantly surprised. I will bring my car in for future service needs. Thank you Richard.

I just went for my annual state inspection (and all I ended up needing was a new wiper blade) so I can't necessarily speak to the repair services, but I can say that the whole process was quick and easy. I made an appointment online a couple of weeks in advance (highly recommended) and heard back almost immediately. I was in and out in less than a half hour even though the shop was busy. Everyone was really nice too. I'd go back in the future.

They have great service and they seem pretty honest, will get you in and out. Can be a bit on the high end when giving you price quotes!

I had a fairly complex problem. Took them three days to duplicate and diagnose. Two bad sensors. They kept me updated the whole time. The overall price was extremely fair. I ended up adding additional services. So glad I found this place.

Great spot! I HIGHLY recommend this place! Normally I only write reviews when I am mad, so this should review should say a lot about this place. I had inspection done by a different shop and I was under the impression I would need a lot of repairs (roughly $4k) for my '03 truck with a lot of rust. I came to Virginia Automotive Service for a second opinion. They re-inspected my truck and informed me that while it did need work, it would be less than half the value I was originally given. They provided quick service and I can already tell my truck drives better. I spoke with Richard (I believe he is the manager) and he gave me a lot of good advice about my truck and the quality that it is in. I will definitely be going back here. Once again, I highly recommend this place.
