I came for state inspection and failed because of the tires. It was very convenient that they could get me 4 tires and change my oil, saving me 2 other errands. I ordered Hankook tires and got them mounted. When I looked at the invoice I noticed that all 4 tires were the same size. My particular model G35S has wider tires at the rear. When I pointed it out, the service guy didn't believe me until I asked him to look at the old tires. He apologized but tried to make excuses: "You won't be able to tell the difference. They'll drive the same." He finally relented when I pointed out that the rims are noticeably wider than the tire at the rear. Then the Hankook tires didn't come with 245/45-18 for the rear so he ordered a set of Bridgestone Potenza's. I ended up waiting there from 9:00 to 2:30 but still couldn't pick up my car until 5:00. The tires had to be ordered from another shop which contributed most to the delays. So the service was good. But I could not believe that the service advisor tried to convince me keep the first set of tires. I won't be coming back.
Mr. Bautista, - Thank you for your review. I apologize again for you being inconvenienced about the tires. I made the mistake of not knowing that model vehicle took two different size tires, and was not making an "excuse" about the error, just pointing out that the different size tires are extremely close in size and was providing you the option of getting all 4 tires with the 100,000 mile warranty that you were interested in. That was not the case, so I then provided you with 4 more expensive tires with no additional charge to you. I am sorry that you feel that you will not return. We strive for complete satisfaction for all of our customers. Thank you for your business.
